Arsenal’s Thomas Partey will not play any part in Ghana’s next friendly game against Nicaragua on Tuesday, but will return to London next week.

The Ghanian is a critical part of Arsenal’s team, and recent reports of a knock that excluded him from Ghana’s game against Brazil on Friday was a cause of concern for Arteta and the Arsenal board.

The midfielder had been injured for Arsenal and just returned to the team against Brentford, a game where he dominated the midfield.
