the policeman in Lagos they have arrested a suspected traffic thief, Charles Igbadoh, known for stripping motorists of their belongings on the Third Continental Bridge in Lagos.
Police spokesman in the state, Benjamin Hundeyin, announced the arrest in a statement made available to journalists in Lagos on Thursday.
According to him, officers from the Adeniji-Adele Police Commando Division arrested the suspect who led the officers to some of the recipients of the stolen items.
“The suspect was arrested after constant patrolling by police officers in the area.
“Further investigation led to the arrest of Odinaka Obiadu and Micheal Adeniyi.
“The suspects are currently assisting the police in an ongoing investigation, which is aimed at arresting other criminal elements on that axis,” he said.
Hundeyin said that State Police Commissioner Abiodun Alabi had ordered efforts to be maintained at all criminal hideouts in the metropolis to ensure that all culprits are apprehended and dealt with.
“The PC has ordered that efforts be maintained in all identified black spots to arrest and prosecute all wrongdoers in accordance with the law.” he said.
