GROOMING CENTRE DISTRIBUTES MILLIONS OF NAIRA ITEMS TO WINNERS.
In furtherance of its ever expanding mass economic empowerment programmes, the Grooming Centre, the grassroots non-governmental organization which provides micro-finance credit facilities for the general public has concluded its 2021/2022 Slash Presentation Raffle Draw which holds once annually.
In an elaborate presentation ceremony which took place on Friday 13 may 2022 at its offices in Aba, a total of 14 lucky winners went home with expensive prizes that spanned across a Keke Napep Tricycle, various sizes of heavy commercial deep freezers, and giant electric power generating sets running into a cost of several millions of Naira
Speaking during the occasion Mr. Ekpe Martin Ndubuisi, the Programme Individual Loan Manager said that the Slash Presentation Raffle Draw is an annual event which serves as one more avenue of empowering members of the organization to support their businesses and even start new ones where possible, while pointing out that the myriad of benefits enjoyed by loyal participant of the N.G.O includes academic scholarships for the children of such clients/members. He encouraged them to step up their commitment and hardwork in the programmes of the organization inorder to reap more benefits which continues to expand in the future.
Also speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Charles Akunwafor, the Programmes Manager (Abia) praised the prize winning members for their efforts and orderliness in the affairs of the centre, assuring them of the centre’s determination to serve them better in future as long as they remain steadfast and loyal to the positive activities of the organization.
The centre is a recognized organization which provides micro-credit facilities to small scale business people in various sectors of the national economy in a practical campaign to poverty alleviation at the grassroots level of the Nigerian society.
