Members of the Grooming Centre, a public empowerment non-governmental organisation specializing in microfinance credit facilities who are into small-scale entrepreneurship were last week rewarded with sixteen Chest Freezers as part of the organisation’s efforts to appreciate loyal and hardworking participants.
The gift items were presented to members across the country where the centre has its operations. Speaking during the presentation ceremony which took place at the Aba Empowerment Centre, Mr. Charles Akunwafor, the Programmes Manager (Abia) of the organization said that its in furtherance of the centres culture and practice over the years to reward members for their unwavering loyalty and dedication to the organisation’s goals and aspirations which includes providing micro credit for small scale entrepreneurs as a means of mass economic empowerment.
He further stated that the reward scheme is a key annual event of the centre and an opportunity to show appreciation, alleviate poverty and encourage small scale traders and other business people.
The centre is registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria with its head office in Lagos and branches in some other cities across the country
