Souza began her acting career while still a student at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has been in a number of reality television series and films in France. Her first appearance on the screen was in a Mexican telenovela, Verano de Amor, in 2009, marking her professional acting debut. Because of the show, she received a great deal of recognition and popularity. In the following years, she appeared in various television episodes, including Los Heroes del Norte (2010-2011) as Prisca, Nino Santo (2011) as Lucia, and La Clinica (2012) in the role of Maripily Rivadeneyra. In order to pursue parts in English-language films and television, Karla relocated to Los Angeles. The Sleepover, a film starring Karla Souza, is an American action-comedy that is quite entertaining. The film was on August 21st, 2020, in theaters. In the film, Karla portrays the character of Jay.
