Angela Folarin, wife of Teslim Folarinathe senator representing Oyo Central is dead.
Ms Folarin, 48, who was also a lawyer, died on Friday afternoon in the UK.
His death was confirmed by the senator’s special adviser on media and publicity, YSO Olaniyi.
Although the cause of her death was not released, Olaniyi, in a statement, said that the deceased was healthy and healthy until the time of her death.
“With total submission to the will of Almighty God, we announce the death of our wife, mother and sister, Chief (Barr.) Angela Nwaka Folarin.

“The wife of the central senator from Oyo was confirmed dead on Friday afternoon. She breathed her last in the UK.
“The deceased was safe and sound until the angel of death knocked on the door. May Almighty God comfort us and grant the late Angela eternal rest,” he said.
Senate President Orji Kalu was one of the first to express his condolences to the senator and his family.
Expressing shock at the news, Mr. Kalu described the late Ms. Folarin as a virtuous woman who supported her husband in his political and humanitarian endeavours.

“It was with sadness that I received the news of the death of Senator Teslim Folarin’s wife, Mrs. Angela Folarin.
“She was a virtuous woman who dedicated her resources to the empowerment of women.
“The deceased played noble roles in advancing the cause of the people by complementing the humanitarian gestures of her husband.
“His passing is a great loss for women. May her sweet soul rest in perfect peace,” Kalu said.
He prayed for the eternal rest of the deceased and urged Mr. Folarin to take comfort in the fact that his late wife was committed to the service of humanity.
He also prayed to God to give Mr. Folarin and his family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
