Yoruba movie stars Iyabo Ojo and Faithia Williams finally ended their two-year fight.
All thanks to the intervention of the Lagos State President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo and veteran actor Olaiya Igwe, the two actresses are back together.
The reconciliation was negotiated in Mc Oluomo’s office in Lagos.
The actresses confirmed the reconciliation on their respective Instagram pages Tuesday night with a photo of Iyabo kissing Faithia on the cheek.
“All is peace and love, Faithia Williams,” Iyabo wrote on her photo.
Iyabo, 44, also expressed interest in following his older colleague on Instagram, after they unfollowed each other two years ago.
“How are we going to follow each other?”
Faithia also wrote “Happy New Year Iyabo Ojo. More wisdom and understanding. May peace reign. “

Two years ago, Iyabo labeled Fathia a witch, traitor, and traitor who could not keep her secrets and they have been sworn enemies who never saw each other face to face.
The duo, who had not spoken in nearly two years after their boisterous reunion in Istanbul, Turkey, made headlines in February 2020 after Iyabo accused Faithia of betraying her and wishing her dead.
In 2018, Iyabo traveled to Turkey with Fathia, who was invited to a birthday party in her honor in the country, and shared fun moments from the trip with her fans.
So when Fathia turned 51 in the same year and Iyabo didn’t send her a congratulatory message, her fans knew something had gone wrong. Instead, Iyabo invited Fathia’s ex-husband, Saidi Balogun, to a party in his living room on the same day. Fathia and Saidi are birthday companions.
Iyabo, who called her colleague on Instagram, would later return to social media to set the record straight and deny reports that they (she and Fathia) got into a fight over a married man living in Turkey.
Faithia’s attempt to make amends in November 2020 following the death of Iyabo’s mother was rejected as the latter refused to acknowledge a message of condolence the 52-year-old posted on Instagram.
“God will comfort you, Iyabo Ojo. May Mommy’s soul rest in peace, ”Faithia wrote.
He later deleted the post after Iyabo didn’t recognize it.
However, the news of their reconciliation has generated excitement in the Nigerian film industry with several actors congratulating the two women.
Mercy Aigbe, Chidinma Aneke, Mo Bimpe, Nkechi Blessing, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Yetunde Bakare, Funsho Adeolu, Eniola Ajao, Regina Chukwu, Jide Awobona and Helen Paul are among those who have congratulated the couple.
