
The Stadium Flyover in Surulere, Lagos, reopens to traffic on Sunday, December 12.
The Lagos state government announced this on Saturday after approving the completion of rehabilitation works at the facility.
Lateef Shomide, Director of Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation at the Lagos State Ministry of Works, told the Nigerian News Agency (NAN) that the replacement of the expansion joints on the flyover had been completed.
Mr. Shomide said that the debris generated as a result of the rehabilitation was being removed to reopen the road to traffic.

“The Alaka-Stadium overpass closed to traffic will soon open.
“We have closed it for about three weeks. By the grace of God, all things being equal for Sunday, we should be able to open the bridge for public use, ” he said.
NAN reports that the rehabilitation works were carried out on the Funsho Williams road, bound for Costain. (YAYA)
