Chairman of the Syuro Council of the Ummat Party, Amien Rais, wants to turn off VPNs to eradicate pornography. This effort will be carried out if the Ummat Party wins the 2024 election.
“If the Ummah Party wins and is given the mandate to be the decision maker, we will eradicate pornography!!! We will turn off VPN. God willing, Indonesia will be porn free!” tweeted Amien Rais on his Twitter account.
However, the intention of the politician from Yogyakarta did not receive a positive response from netizens. Because blocking VPNs is not the right step to eradicate pornography.
