Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his satisfaction with the ruling of the Petition Court for the Presidential Elections (PEPC) which affirms Tinubu Ball as the winner of the presidential elections on February 25.

The former president also praised the five-member PEPC panel for opposing “bullying” to deliver justice.

Garba Shehu, senior special adviser, media and publicity to the former president, made it known in a statement on Thursday.

The five-member PEPC committee, headed by Haruna Tsammani, unanimously rejected petitions questioning Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election on Wednesday.

PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and his Labor Party (LP) counterpart Peter Obi, as well as the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), had filed petitions challenging the APC’s Tinubu victory in the election.

Buhari also urged Nigerians to give full support to the Tinubu administration to fulfill its promises.

The February presidential elections were held under the Buhari presidency.

He had advised those harmed by the election to seek redress in the courts instead of taking to the streets.

The former president, who is also an APC member like Mr. Tinubu, handed over power to the latter on May 29 at the end of his second four-year term.
