In a move aimed at revitalizing Abia State’s hospitality sector and positioning it as a key destination for business and leisure, the Abia State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Radisson Blu, a globally respected hospitality brand, for the reconstruction and expansion of the Enyimba Hotel in Aba. The partnership will also include the construction of an International Conference and Exhibition Centre, further cementing Abia’s place on the global hospitality map.
The MoU was officially signed on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Radisson Blu’s headquarters in Lagos. Representing the Abia State Government were the Honourable Attorney General of the state, Mr. Ikechukwu Uwanna, and the Director General of the Greater Aba Development Authority (GADA), Architect Uche Ukeje.
