Faisal Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, who is the son of Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the former leader of Kaduna State, has sadly passed away.
The news was shared by a family member, who wanted to stay anonymous, stating that Faisal was in a car accident.
This accident occurred on the road between Kaduna and Zaria on Saturday evening.
The family member shared, “The accident happened on the road from Kaduna to Zaria this evening. Faisal was rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead. His father was there, and now Faisal is being taken home for the funeral arrangements.”
Sadly, this was not the only tragic event to happen to important families in Nigeria this weekend.
Another notable figure, Mele Kyari, who leads the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, known as NNPC, also faced a loss when his 23-year-old daughter, Fatima, passed away on Friday.
