The Abia State Executive Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, had a visit from the Anglican Bishops of the state.
After the private meeting with the Governor, His Grace, the Most Rev. Isaac C. Nwaobia, the Archbishop of Aba Province and Bishop of the Isiala Ngwa South Diocese, addressed the media and stated, “We are here to congratulate His Excellency on his election, swearing in, and performance so far.”
He said, “We are here again to strengthen our relationship with the government, which we have done, and we have prayed with him.”
The respected pastor made a suggestion that they also had similar views on government.
Along with His Grace, the Most Rev. Isaac C. Nwaobia, other bishops from the Ohafia and Arochukwu dioceses, the bishop of Ikwuano, the bishop of Ukwa, the bishop of Aba Ngwa North, the bishop of Isiala Ngwa, and the bishop of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi all made the trip.
In addition to Governor Otti, the Bishops were welcomed by Apostle Kenneth. C. Wiper, Special Assistant to the Governor on Religious Activities, and Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
