He Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has attributed the power outage being experienced in its franchise areas to the two-day warning strike by the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC).
The AEDC leadership made it known in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
”We are aware of the general power outage that is being experienced across our franchise, this is due to the enforcement of the two day warning strike undertaken by the union.
“We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of this, as we continue our engagement with key stakeholders to minimize the impact of the strike on our customers,” it said.
AEDC urges its clients to take the necessary precautions to manage the interruption effectively.
The company advised its client to disconnect sensitive electronic devices and appliances from power sources until power was restored.

The NLC, in a statement at the end of its National Executive Council, said it would start a two-day nationwide warning strike from 5-6 September.
