President elect tinubou ball has accepted Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike’s invitation to commission some projects in the state on Wednesday.
Mr. Tinubu revealed this in a tweet posted on his verified Twitter account.
According to the tweet, Mr. Wike, in a letter dated April 8, invited the president-elect to commission the Rumuola/Rumuokwuta flyover and the new Magistrates Court Complex on May 3-4.
Although the president-elect and Mr. Wike are members of different political parties, the duo have been close since the run-up to the presidential election.
Wike, a member of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), is believed to have worked for Tinubu, who was the ruling All Progressive Congress’ (APC) presidential candidate in the February 25 election.

The Governor of Rivers State together with the Governors of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde; Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu; Enugu State, Ifeanyi Uguwanyi; and Benue State, Samuel Ortom; All PDP members were believed to have worked with the party’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the elections.
Tinubu won the presidential election in Rivers State, allegedly with the help of Wike.
Meanwhile, a delegation of the president-elect led by Speaker of the House Femi Gbajabiamila also paid a condolence visit to the family of former Labor and Productivity Minister Musa Gwadabe in Kano.
Mr. Gwadabe was a minister from 1999 to 2003 in the first term of President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration. He was also Secretary of the Kano State Government in the Second Republic under the administration of Governor Sabo Bakin-Zuwo.
He passed away in Kano on Tuesday at the age of 86 after battling an undisclosed ailment.
The delegation also paid a condolence visit to the family of Aminu Dantata on the death of his wife, Rabbi Dantata, in Kano.
