polaris bank has reaffirmed its commitment to the growth of Nigerian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by announcing the sponsorship of the 6th Fashion Souk Lagos 2022. The event is organized in partnership with Nigeria’s leading event management company, EVENTFUL Limited.
The two-day Fashion Souk/Business Fair will take place on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July 2022 at the Harbor Point venue on Victoria Island, Lagos.
Announcing the event, Nduneche Ezurike, Head of Group Strategic Brand Management at Polaris Bank, said: “As an SME-friendly bank, we are always happy to explore opportunities to grow small and medium-sized businesses in Nigeria. Over 130 SMEs in the Nigerian fashion industry including manufacturers, retailers and distributors are invited to showcase their creativity and product lines at the Fashion Souk.
According to the December 2021 industry report, the sub-Saharan African fashion market is worth $31 billion, with Nigeria having an expanding 15 percent share.
In line with its focus on SMEs, Polaris Bank has partnered with and supported businesses in critical sectors of the Nigerian economy, including healthcare, education, manufacturing, agriculture, export and others.
