The Vice President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agesays your plea to contest the gubernatorial election in the state of Delta is giving the incumbent governor, Ifeanyi Okowasleepless nights.
Mr. Agege had this to say at the thanksgiving reception in honor of APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in Agbor, Delta State, on Sunday.
The Senate vice president said his statement also rattled the PDP, the party that has controlled the state since 1999.
“They don’t want people to be told the truth; they are not content to tell the bitter truth. Okowa has not been able to sleep since I told people the truth,” he said.
Speaking about the new APC spokesman, Mr. Omo-Agege said that Mr. Morka is a worthy son of the land of Ika and a committed APC member whose membership in the party’s National Labor Committee and National Executive Committee it would strengthen the influence of the state of Delta and the South. -South geopolitical zone.
In his reaction, Morka said that the ruling party has failed to tell its story and its achievements under current President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr. Morka also expressed his gratitude to Mr. Omo-Agege and others for working behind the scenes to get him elected to the APC national convention.
Earlier, Mr. Omo-Agege visited the palace of Dein Kingdom of Agbor, Delta State Ika South Local Government Area, Benjamin Keagborekuzi 1.
Speaking to the visitors, Mr. Keagborekuzi called on politicians on both sides to avoid violence and embrace peace.
He added: “Be it APC or PDP, we want to move the country forward; but we don’t need weapons, we don’t need violence. Bring your brainpower to take this country to the next level.”
The monarch said that both the APC and the PDP should not see themselves as enemies, but should work for a better Nigeria.
“We must bring back peace because it is that peace that we will use to reinvigorate and bring back business to this country, which we desperately need right now,” the monarch said.
Mr. Keagborekuzi added that the ongoing construction of the new US embassy in Nigeria shows that developed countries still have hope in the country. Therefore, the monarch urged all politicians to work for the development of the nation.
