Disciples of the late Major Prophet TB Joshua have continued his legacy by donating 250 bags of rice and N1 million to widows in Lagos.
It was reported last week that they delivered 250 bags of rice and a sum of 1.5 million naira to the disabled in Lagos.
Following that trend as Prophet TB Joshua did when he was alive, the disciples stormed the Egbeda area of Lagos state today Saturday January 8, 2022 to reach 300 widows with 250 bags of rice and an extra cash gift. by N1 Million.
One of the disciples, the evangelist Joseph, encouraged widows not to despair over the illness of their spouses, but to look to Jesus Christ and trust in his goodness.
He quoted words from the late prophet TB Joshua’s message to widows titled The Chief Husband, as he urged widows to always trust Jesus because He cares for the weak, the rejected, and other vulnerable people.
” If I may quote our mentor, Prophet TB Joshua in his message to the widows: The Chief Husband, said that Jesus Christ is the chief Husband. Jesus cares for the weak, the rejected, and other vulnerable people. (Psalm 68: 5) He is the father of orphans and the husband of widows. Just because you’ve lost your spouse doesn’t mean you should despair, no! As a child of God, you only need to trust His Goodness. (Isaiah 54: 5-6) You can look at Jesus, the Head of Spouses in the house, and put the broken pieces of marriage together.
“He knows how to make up for the loss of your loved one because Jesus is the compassionate Healer of our wounds. So let His compassion control your passion today. In Luke 7: 11-15 Jesus saw a widow, her only son was dead and she was crying. Jesus said to him: ‘Don’t cry, because I’m involved in your matter.’ How you handle your situation is what matters.
“Whether we die or live, we are permanently married to Christ; When death strikes, only He can comfort and rehabilitate the surviving member of the union so that he can stand up under the circumstances. So what is your situation? Are you in need as a result of your widowhood? Look at Jesus, He is your Father and a Friend closer than a brother. Courage to God in His Sacred Temple, take care of orphans and widows; always ready to meet your needs. ”
According to him, caring for widows, orphans and others less privileged in society has always been part of the charitable activities of Prophet TB Joshua.
One of the widows, Olabisi Olabode, tearfully revealed that she had been watching the philanthropic act of Prophet TB Joshua on Emmanuel TV but had never been a beneficiary until today. She prayed for the disciples and asked God to keep their families.
“I am very happy with what is happening today, I pray that TB Joshua continues to rejoice with the angels. I pray that his disciples will live a long time. This is the first time I will witness this in our area, but I know TB Joshua gives to widows because I see it on Emmanuel TV, I pray that God will continue to protect his family. ”
