
The virtual award ceremony will be broadcast live from FIFA headquarters in Zurich on January 17. FIFA Legends Kristine Lilly and Sami Khedira spoke about the nominees during a live-streamed announcement event and discussed their chances of winning these prestigious awards.
The last three nominees for The Best FIFA Women’s Player are:
Jennifer Hermoso (Spain / FC Barcelona), Sam Kerr (Australia / Chelsea FC Women) and
Alexia Putellas (Spain / FC Barcelona).
These two awards are given to outstanding players in women’s and men’s soccer voted by an international jury consisting respectively of the current coaches of all the women’s / men’s national teams (one per team), the current captains of all the women’s / national teams. men (one per team), a specialist journalist from each territory represented by a team and fans registered on FIFA.com.

All winners of The Best FIFA Football Awards 2021, including the winners of the FIFA Fan Award and the FIFA Fair Play Award, will be crowned on January 17 during a television program broadcast live from FIFA headquarters in Zurich.
