Ganduje declares 2022 as the era of reconciliation

In his New Years message signed by Information Commissioner Malam Muhammad Garba, the governor said that a recent event in Kano will likely bring a new dawn in the state’s political history.

“The event, in which the political gladiators of Kano emphasized the need for reconciliation, has sparked enthusiasm among the people of Kano State, who have been yearning for the peace and conciliation so necessary to advance the cause of proper development in the political terrain and society at large ”, he said.

Ganduje noted that the wave of insecurity across the country, in addition to the devastating poverty as a result of the economic hardships in the country, was cause for concern.

However, he expressed his hope that despite the challenges, the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has been making frantic efforts towards the proper implementation of its policies and programs aimed at alleviating the suffering of the population.
