The National Vice President of the Democratic Party of the Peoples (PDP) in the southwest, Soji Adagunodo, is dead.
Mr. Adagunodo died in the United States of America after suffering from an undisclosed illness.
One of his sons, Olasoji Adagunodo Jr., confirmed the death.

“We announce the passing to the glory of our loving husband, father and grandfather, the Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo Oluwatukesi, National Vice President (Southwest) of the Peoples’ Democratic Party.

“He died at the age of 62 on Monday, May 8, 2023, in the United States of America, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and in-laws. The family will announce the burial arrangements,” he said in an obituary announcement.
Adagunodo had previously served as the chairman of the PDP in Osun State before being elected the party’s national vice president in 2021.
