A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankhe has joined the list of hopefuls on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) platform seeking the party’s presidential nomination.
PREMIUM TIMES has learned that a former governor of Zamfara state, Mahmud Shinkafi, chose the N100 million nomination and expression of interest forms in Abuja on behalf of Mr. Bankole.
Shinkafi was accompanied by some APC chiefs.
Bankole confirmed the development but declined to elaborate.
