Police spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi revealed this in a statement on Saturday.
The IGP’s visit comes days after terrorists planted explosives on the tracks of the Abuja-Kaduna railway lines, causing damage to the Kaduna-bound train, while shooting at passengers aboard the train.
At least eight people were confirmed dead in the attack, while others remain missing, according to the Kaduna State Government.
